Your hike begins in the Sanddrif area with a steady ascent toward the Wolfberg Cracks — towering sandstone fissures carved by time and wind. Explore hidden passages, narrow corridors, and sculpted orange rock walls that glow beautifully in the morning light.
From the top of the Cracks, the trail continues across a high plateau toward the magnificent Wolfberg Arch. This natural stone arch frames sweeping wilderness views and offers the perfect spot to rest, enjoy lunch, and take in the 360° Cederberg landscape.
Expect a mix of steady climbs, rocky sections, open mountain plateaus, and dramatic viewpoints throughout the hike. After time at the Arch, you return along the same route back to the trailhead.
